SWAT Elite Troops storm onto mobile

UPDATE: The sequel to SWAT Force, SWAT Elite Troops has been released by Vivendi Games Mobile. This new mobile game apparently features an Instant Tactical Decision system which supposedly allows the gamer to make snap decisions instantly within the game…our previous report can be found here
It appears the developers have optimised SWAT Elite Troops’s game for mobile control, which is usually either forgotten about or done poorly as a mobile handset isn’t a console gamepad. Anyway in SWAT Elite Troops you take command of an elite team and go about killing off bad guys, taking hostages, and defusing bombs, you know, the usual stuff in these military/law enforcer games. The gamer will also have access to an abundance of killing weapons such as stub-guns, flash guns, guns, and guns, and guns, ect, I’m sure you get the general ideal.

Mobile gaming is on the rise. It's convenient, it's easy and it's entertainment on-the-go - everything an avid gamer would want. But what devices are the best suited to this fairly new technology? Well, apparently it's the Nokia Smartphone that's topping the list! 


Mobile gaming firm Probability named the Nokia N95 Smartphone the top of the list for mobile devices being used. These statistics were based on registration numbers at their mobile casino site during the months of January, February and March of 2009. 


Probability found that over 5,000 models were being used by gamers to play some of their favourite mobile casino games. Other phones making the top of the list include the Samsung SGH F480 in second place and the Sony Ericsson K800i, previously in first place and now in third place. 


Surprisingly the Nokia handset beat out Apple's hugely successful iPhone for the top spot. Probability's Chief Executive Charles Cohen noted that the market is very broadly-based for mobile gaming and that it's not only about the latest gadgets. The study also showed that users are doing more with their feature-rich phones than just finding a phone number online or playing Pac-Man.

Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands

This new instalment in the critically-acclaimed franchise marks the return to the Prince of Persia: Sands of Time game storyline. I was surprised to find out it’s a continuation of The Sands of Time Trilogy, and not the recent Prince of Persia reboot. It makes sense though, cause they’ll release it the same month as the upcoming Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time movie based on the game by the same name.

Wow! This is the most improved java game with Virtual Pro feature. Play real and professional football almost like the PlayStation FIFA games. This is probably the last game i'm adding to this site. I hope java games become much better in the future and FIFA 2011 is one of them.
